CHICKEN PERATTU

INGREDIENTS


*CHICKEN 1-2 KG
*ONION SLICED 3-4
*DRY CHILLIES 2-3
*CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI 3-4
*CHOPPED GINGER 2MEDIAM
*CRUSHED GARLIC 2-3 PODS
*TURMERIC POWDER 1 tsb
*CHILLI POWDER 4-6 tsb
*CORIANDER POWDER 3 tsb
*GARAM MASALA 1-2 tsb
*PEPPER POWDER 1-2 tsb
*MUSTARD  SEED 1/2 tsb
*CURRY LEAVES
*OIL
*SALT TO TASTE


PEIPERATION

Clean,wash & drain the chicken pieces. In a grinder make paste of ginger & garlic with green chilli.
marinate the drained chicken with this paste and along with spices-- turmeric powder,chilli powder,coriander powder,garam masala,pepper powder &
salt.Keep it for 20 min.In a pan add oil.Splutter mustard seeds, dry chilies, and curry leaves. add sliced onions and saute until translucent.
Add the marinated chicken and fry for 2-3 min.Cover the lid and cook for 10 mins.Water will ooze from the chicken.Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally until the gravy is dried up and chicken is cooked. sprinkle garam masala and salt. mix well and cook for another 5 mins. at last pour some coconut oil and mix well.
